Walk-In Rooms
Gem Scientific is a leader in custom walk-in rooms for laboratory, pharmacy, blood bank, and vaccine storage use. Our refrigeration systems are designed to meet your specific space and temperature storage needs. Walk-ins are available in refrigerators, -22˚C freezers and combination refrigerator and freezer.
Walk-in rooms can be configured with single or redundant refrigeration systems, single or redundant temperature controls, temperature alarm/monitor system and a top mounted compressor. All are available in 7’7” and 8’7” heights with insulated and non-insulated floors.
Standard features include:
- 4” Non-CFC urethane insulated panels
- Non-CFC, commercially available refrigerant
- Interior to enhance visibility of stored product
- Self-closing door(s)
- Heated doors and door frames
Options include:
- Multiple access doors
- Shelving
- Pull-out drawers
- Air or Water Cooled Compressor
- Winterized Compressor for location outside
- Temperature recorders
- Alarm / monitor system
- Door Ramps
