You may elect to enhance your clean-room environment by ordering your Gem pass-thru refrigerator with our new optional Network Proximity Locks Access Control System for Clean-Room Operation.

Gem pass-thru refrigerator interlock systems for "clean room" environments are designed to allow the transfer of objects from outside the sanitized environment without introducing undesirable contaminants into the "clean room". The system intergrates the pass-through refrigerator (unit) with a complete network proximity lock access control system, which comprises "clean room" side locks and sensors with an access control; "non-clean room (ante-room) side locks and sensors with access control, allo of which is intergrated with a central control/communication center and a UPS system.

The result....allows only one side (door or doors) to open at a time. One side door/doors will be automatically locked while the other (opposite) side door/doors are opened.
